WINSTY, our winter institute, is the PAR social action event and the only home-housed weekend event. Over Martin Luther King weekend in January, PARites gather at a different synagogue every year to learn about social justice work and participate in a variety of projects within the community. Projects range from cleaning a park to working with sick children to cooking for the homeless to sorting clothes for shelters to a letter writing campaign to the elected state representatives. WINSTY is a wonderful opportunity to give back to our community while having fun with your friends.
Participants must attend the entire WINSTY weekend to participate. Unfortunately we cannot have participants arriving late or leaving early from this event. We appreciate your understanding of this policy. This helps to ensure the health and safety of our participants as well as the integrity of our programming and of our sense of community.

This event is open to any Jewish teen in grades 9 to 12.
Meals included in the cost of the event.
Registration will be accepted after January 2, 2019 on a space-available basis.
Teens are expected to participate in the entire event. Fees are set at a full package rate and unfortunately we cannot prorate registration.

Participants will receive an email confirmation letter one week before the event. The confirmation letter will include finalized bus arrival and departure information, a list of items to bring and other important information regarding the event.

After January 3, 2019 we will not be able to issue any refunds for cancellation. If you have a documented medical emergency and must cancel after v you will be refunded 75% of the registration fees you paid.
Please allow up to six weeks after the conclusion of the event for your refund to be processed.
All cancellation requests must be in writing. We will accept cancellations by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We’re sorry, but we cannot accept cancellations over the phone.
