NFTY-PAR WINSTY

Friday January 13 - Sunday January 15, 2017
Elkins Park, PA

WINSTY, our winter institute, is the PAR social action event and the only home-housed weekend event. Over Martin Luther King weekend in January, PARites gather at a different synagogue every year to learn about social justice work and participate in a variety of projects within the community. Projects range from cleaning a park to working with sick children to cooking for the homeless to sorting clothes for shelters to a letter writing campaign to the elected state representatives. WINSTY is a wonderful opportunity to give back to our community while making meaningful connections with your NFTY friends.

  • Meet new people and see your friends from NFTY, Camp, Israel and Mitzvah Corps
  • Take part in several hands-on social action and social justice projects
  • Enjoy a fun, interactive Saturday night activity
  • Celebrate Shabbat with delicious food, singing and dancing in a new congregational setting
