NFTY-PAR Haggigah/Maccabiah

May 13-15, 2016

Haggigah/Maccabiah (Hag/Mac) is May 13-15 at Camp Harlam. This is the first event planned and lead by the newly installed NFTY-PAR Regional Board. The focus of the weekend is to provide our teens with a taste of NFTY. The event is centered on new members, arts, sports and an introduction to NFTY and NFTY-PAR. The event is open to current 8th-11th graders.

We have a new member incentive for Hag/Mac 2016, all new members (any teen who has never attended a high school NFTY or NFTY-PAR event before) will receive a $50 refund!

This event is open to any Jewish teen in grades 8 to 11.

  • Registration will be accepted after April 27 on a space-available basis.
  • Teens are expected to participate in the entire event. Fees are set at a full package rate and unfortunately we cannot prorate registration.

All participants traveling by car should arrive at Camp Harlam by 4:00pm on Friday, May 13th and should be picked up there at 11:00am on Sunday, May 15th.    

Please note that participants may not drive themselves or others to, from, or during NFTY regional events, which does include driving to the bus stop.

Participants will receive a confirmation email one week before the event. The confirmation will include finalized bus arrival and departure information and other important information regarding the event.

Please bring your own sleeping bag, pillow and sheets.

If you need to cancel, the registration fees you paid will be refunded as follows:

Through April 21, 2016 – 90%Through April 28, 2016 – 75%Through May 5, 2016 – 50%After May 5, 2016 we will not be able to issue any refunds for cancellation. If you have a documented medical emergency and must cancel after May 5, 2016 you will be refunded 75% of the registration fees you paid.

All cancellation must be in writing. We will accept cancellations by email to We’re sorry, but we cannot accept cancellations over the phone. Please allow up to six weeks after the conclusion of the event for your refund to be processed.
