  • JYK: Then, Now, and Always

    Early this past December, NFTY-PAR held an event called Junior Youth Kallah. It was open to 6th-8th graders and was held at Camp Harlam. I was able to work with seven other teens to make this event possible and the experience was truly amazing.

  • The Eternal Kehillah NFTY in Israel Creates

    One use of the root of Baruch is the Hebrew word “L’havrich” which refers to taking a vine and putting part of the growing branch under the ground so that it may sprout roots, just like each group has sprouted and grown into a complete kehillah (community). Throughout this trip, we have all made amazing memories together that has formed us into one family.

    I was standing on the sidewalk of Philadelphia with three of my friends while we were watching float-by-float, person after person, walk down the street, blasting music that everyone was singing along to. “We are family! I got all my sisters with me! We are family!” Everyone was in unison; everything was great, until I heard an extremely loud pop that came from the left side of me.
